Dozens of Saudi-led coalition recruits were killed and wounded on Thursday, during clashes taking place on the western outskirts of Ma’rib city. This was reported by Yemen Press Agency, based on local sources.
The Yemeni army forces and the Popular Committees launched a major military offensive at dawn today towards the Al-Kasara area, which is still witnessing fierce battles with all types of weapons, the sources explained.
The clashes resulted in the death and injury of 97 troops of the coalition forces, including senior military leaders, most notably Awad bin Salem bin Mohammed Al-Aqeli and Salim Al-Tayeb, the sources added.
The sources revealed that Yemeni missile and artillery bombing targeted military reinforcements of the invading coalition forces in the Nakhla area, which resulted in 63 dead and wounded, including military leaders.
