Yemeni ballistic missile strikes King Khalid Air Base in Saudi Arabia

he Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out a fresh missile attack on the Saudi territory of Khamis Mushait, targeting the King Khalid Air Base in Asir region on Thursday, the Yemeni army spokesman said in a statement.

Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said that the missile forces fired a ballistic missile on a military target at King Khalid Air Base.

The military spokesman affirmed that that attack was carried out with a ballistic missile, and it hit its target with high accuracy.

He noted that the details and type of the missile have not been publicly disclosed as of yet.

Sare’e confirmed that the attack comes in response to the Saudi-led coalition’s crimes and its continued blockade on Yemeni people.

On Wednesday, the Yemeni army carried out a series of drone attacks against Abha airport in the Asir region, using Samad-3 and Qasef-2K drones.
