Saudi authorities have on Monday arrested the well-known preacher Aisha Al-Muhajiri, after raiding her home in Mecca city.
The account of “prisoners of conscience” on Twitter stated that preacher Al-Muhajiri, aged 65, was arrested after about 20 members of the State Security Service raided her home in Mecca and took her to Thahban prison.

The account confirmed that the reasons for the arrest were her “advocacy activity and Qur’an memorisation at her home.”
