Yemenia airways announced on Friday that flight 608, which was bound for Cairo airport, has changed course and made an emergency landing at Jeddah airport.
Flight 608, which took off from Aden Airport for Cairo, landed in Jeddah after the pilot recorded a technical glitch in the plane, according to the statement
The airline’s statement affirmed that the captain of the plane landed the plane at Jeddah Airport in order to ensure security.
The plane left Jeddah airport an hour after landing, continuing its flight to Cairo, the statement read.
