Saudis conduct airstrikes on Yemen’s Sana’a

The US-backed Saudi-led aggression warplanes have conducted a series of airstrikes on the Yemeni capital Sana’a and its nearby regions, a security official said on Sunday.

The official explained that the coalition’s aircraft carried out five airstrikes on al-Nahda neighborhood in the district of al-Thawra, north of the capital Sana’a, as well as launching two airstrikes Atan area.

The airstrikes caused heavy damages to civilians’ properties and nearby houses, the official added.

Meanwhile, Saudi-led coalition warplanes also waged an airstrike on Al-Arj area in Bajl district of Hodeidah province, in a blatant violation of the Swedish Agreement.

On Saturday, Saudi-led coalition waged 18 airstrikes targeting several areas in Marib province.

The official noted that  14 airstrikes were waged on Sirwah district and four others on the districts of Medghal and Mahliyah.
