Mohammed al-Houthi urges UK government to allow new Scotland independence referendum

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, on Sunday called on the British Prime Minister to allow Scotland to hold a vote on its independence.

Al-Houthi said, in a tweet on Twitter, that the refusal does not mean meeting the conviction of the Scottish claimants, but rather delaying the enforcement.

He added that if the British claim their adherence to democracy, the referendum is the minimum right for a citizen to determine his destiny and confiscating this right is “a negative image across generations.”
