Iran vehemently denies Saudi claims of “interference” in Yemen

Director of the Iranian President’s office, Mahmoud Vaezi, has denied Saudi Arabia’s allegations of Iranian interference in Yemen, saying “Saudis are killing women and children in Yemen, and they have turned this country into rubble.”

Tasnim News Agency quoted Vaezi as saying: “The Saudis are accusing others and avoid clarifying the facts before the Islamic public opinion that wonders why Muslims’ money is used to buy weapons from America and the West to kill Muslims in Yemen.”

He added: “Our aid is only at the extent that it contributes to preventing further injustice and preventing more Yemenis from being killed.”

Regarding the statements of the White House National Security Advisor, Vaezi said: “We have not conducted bilateral negotiations with America. We have no intention of conducting bilateral negotiations.”
