A military commander affiliated with the Yemeni Islah Party, which is loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, was killed by the Yemeni army and Popular Committees in the Maqbnah front in Taiz province.
Pro-coalition media outlets confirmed that the commander of the so-called “Support and Backing Battalion” of the military police, Tariq Al-Himiari, was killed during an unsuccessful attempt to launch an attack on sites of the army and Popular Committees.
Al-Himiari, who held the rank of Major, was one of the most important commanders of the invading coalition in the Maqbnah front, according to coalition media.
