Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, has said on Thursday that the aggression against Yemen “was announced by a Saudi man from Washington, which reveals the identity of the executor of the aggression and who is behind it.”
This came in a speech he delivered Thursday afternoon on the occasion of the National Day of Steadfastness, in which he considered this occasion worthy of attention and taking advantage of it as a useful annual stop.
“Since its launch in the middle of the night six years ago, the aggression hallmark was the crime and treacherous,” he said. “Had it not been for the declaration and the adoption of aggression, the question would remain, who is the party that carried out the aggression?”
Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi pointed out that the Saudi regime had adopted the aggression from in Washington DC, and that it was leading the coalition, which makes it clear that the aggression was carried out under American supervision alongside the Israelis and the British to target Yemen.
He referred that “before the aggression there was incitement by the Israeli enemy against Yemen, and Netanyahu was at the head of the instigators against the Yemeni people’s revolution.”
“The Israeli, American and British, to avoid cost and consequences, chose Saudi Arabia as the main executer, along with the Emiratis. The rest of the armies, regimes and local mercenaries are hired,” he added.
Sayyid al-Houthi reiterated that the most atrocious crime committed by the Saudi-led aggression is the blockade it imposes on the Yemenis, stressing that “the Yemenis will emerge victorious from this war.”
Moreover, the Leader confirmed that “ those involved in betraying the country are under the Saudi command and they do not have any powers to run the occupied provinces.”
He pointed out that the airports, ports, and vital centers in the occupied provinces are under the direct control of the Saudis and Emiratis.
Sayyid al-Houthi added that everyone who works with the coalition, in all various positions, is still subservient to even the simplest Saudi officer, as is the case in Ma’rib and the rest of the occupied provinces.
“Whenever the aggression coalition gets in an ethical, military, and political impasse, the United Nations hurries to address Yemenis to stop the fighting between them,” the Sayyid said, emphasising that the Yemeni people “do not need the permission of the Security Council, the UN nor the approval of the Arab league, nor from European countries or any party in this world to response to the aggression.”
The Leader of the Revolution renewed the “firm and principled position of the Yemeni people towards their just cause and the fateful issues of the Islamic nation, topped by Palestinian cause.” Sayyid al-Houthi called on all the Yemeni people to participate actively and strongly in the marches of the National Day of Steadfastness on Friday.
