Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has announced that his country is seeking to provide complete vaccination against Covid-19.
“Venezuela has oil tankers and it has oil customers. Part of oil production can be allocated to ensure that all the vaccines Venezuela needs are secured,” Maduro said on Monday.
Venezuela began vaccinating the population with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine on 18th of the last month , giving vaccination priority to medical personnel. Earlier, Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said that the first 100,000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine against the coronavirus had been received as a batch.
