Mohammed al-Houthi: “US proposals not yet at a favourable level”

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi had said that US proposals to resolve the Yemeni crisis “are not yet at the favourable level.”

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, top Yemeni  political official, stressed that the United States, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia and all coalition states are “behind the war in Yemen.”

The move came in an interview with the Arabic-language edition of Russia Today on Monday.

Al-Houthi said that “What the United States has sent to Yemen through the Sultanate of Oman has not yet reached the favourable and realistic level.”

He said that the United States is still far from the prospect of peace, stressing that “what has been presented is just talk.”

Mohammed al-Houthi stressed that the movement would support future measures announced by the United Nations.

Muscat, the capital of Oman, is witnessing a lot of political and diplomatic activities these days, and intensive talks are underway to find a political solution to end the Yemeni war. Oman had invited both Yemeni and Saudi delegates to its capital in order to negotiate peace.
