Top member in the Supreme Political Council, Mohamed Ali al-Houthi, has described the UN Security Council session on Yemen that is scheduled for Thursday, as “futile if the country’s humanitarian crisis is not ended.”
Mohammed al-Houthi said on Twitter: “At today’s Security Council meeting, the killers of the Yemeni people will be praised for the aggression and for the US-British-Saudi-UAE blockade by justifying the entry of oil derivatives ships, while the besieged ones will be condemned and criminalised.”

“Any meeting that does not end the humanitarian crisis, and does not criminalise the perpetrators of this terrorism, is a futile and useless meeting,” he added.
