Saudi-led coalition forces have launched a brutal military aggression with various types of weapons, targeting the areas of the Damashka tribes of Wadi Obeida in Ma’rib province, local sources said.
According to the local sources, fierce clashes reportedly broke out between Hadi’s forces and Damashka tribesmen, after the latter pretested the setting up of a military checkpoint.
Tribal sources said Hadi’s forces had set up a checkpoint in the area of the tribal sector, but the Damashka tribes refused to allow the point in their areas.
Hadi and Islah forces subsequently bombed farms and houses of the Damashka tribes in Wadi Obeida, the sources added, after which coalition aircraft flew intensively over the areas of the Damashka tribes in the area of Arakin southeast of Ma’rib city.
The sources added that the differences developed into violent clashes, in which Hadi’s forces used tanks and cannons to bomb tribal areas. The situation is reported to be still tense.
