The city of Aden has on Friday evening witnessed angry protests in response to the continued deterioration of basic services, local sources said.
According to the sources, protesters went out in the district of Al-Mualla and closed the Al-Shaheed Madram Street, preventing the movement of cars.
The protesters say they reject the policy of torture, which Aden is subjected t, and decried that the electricity had been cut off from their homes for 15 hours.
Local sources mentioned that the protesters have been calling for the improvement of the collapsed services in the city, especially water, health and electricity, for the last five years, ever since the Saudi-Emirati inavders took control over Aden.
