Heavy rains hit the southern Yemeni city of Aden on Thursday morning, causing the main streets of the city to be shut down.
Houses have flooded and cars remain trapped in water in some parts of the city, amid fears that this new seasonal wave will lead to a wider outbreak of epidemic diseases.
