The convoy of the Prime Minister of in the Saudi-led Hadi puppet government, Moeen Abdul-Malik Saeed, has on Friday been attacked by angry civilians in the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadhramaut province in eastern Yemen.
Stones and shoes were thrown at the car of the so-called Prime Minister while he was passing through the center of the city.
Activists circulated video footage showing angry Yemenis intercepting the convoy of Moeen Abdul-Malik Saeed and Hadhramaut Governor Faraj al-Bahsani, and throwing with stones and shoes at it. Throwing shoes is seen as a sign of contempt and anger in the Arab and Islamic world.

Activists said protesters also chanted slogans against the presence of the mercenary leaders, demanding that they leave the city.
The latest demonstration of popular anger comes after the city of Mukalla has witnessed angry protests over the past month as a result of the collapse of living standards and service conditions, particularly the deterioration of the electricity sector since the past years.
Hadhramaut has been under Saudi and Emirati occupation for the majority of the Saudi-led invasion of Yemen that has been going on since 2015.
