The Saudi-led coalition has provided expired medical supplies to a hospital in Mahrah governorate, a southern Yemeni media outlet reported.
Activist Nasser Hakem Bin Aweidh said on his Twitter account that the coalition forces handed out outdated medical supplies to the al-Ghaydah hospital in the center of Mahrah governorate.
He said he was “surprised by a call from a doctor” telling him that most of the medications provided by the coalition were out of date.
“Hence, I warn all the sons of Mahrah who have a human conscience, especially after I got a picture of a milk product (Infatrini) for infants. There are only a few days left before its expiration, as well as for the medicines attached,” Bin Aweidh said.
He pointed out that the doctor assured him that the most damaged and expired medicines were provided, and accused the health office in the province and al-Ghaydah hospital of keeping a lid on the matter.
