President of Yemen Mahdi Al-Mashat has warned the countries involved in the US-Saudi aggression and the United Nations against disregarding the tragic humanitarian situation of the Yemeni people.
In his speech on the occasion of the Islamic holy day of Eid al-Fitr, President Al-Mashat said that the use of the economic siege as a card in the US-Saudi aggression is a war crime according to international and humanitarian laws.
“While talk of peace is going on, the countries of aggression are tightening the siege, escalating their air raids and their crimes against civilians. Therefore, any statements or agendas that are not accompanied by practical steps to alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people or lifting the siege, will remain propaganda meant to cover up the crimes of aggression and blockade,” Al-Mashat added.
The President congratulated the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the heroes of the Army and Popular Committees and the security personal, as well as the Yemeni people and the Arab and Islamic nation on the occasion of the blessed day of Eid al-Fitr.
