Hamas forces launch heavy bombardment on Tel Aviv in retaliation for refugee camp bombing

The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Palestinian resistance organisation Hamas, has on Saturday launched heavy bombardments on Tel Aviv as well as Israeli settlements nearby and in the West Bank, in retaliation for the massacre of the al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza which killed ten civilians including six children, Quds News Network reported.

The resistance’s shelling caused fire in an Israeli military site in western Ramallah as well as in Tel Aviv.

The Zionist occupation government said that 20 settlers were wounded in the attack.

Moreover, spokesperson for the al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaida said that the Brigades are prepared to bomb Tel Aviv for six more consecutive months.

In a brief statement, he confirmed, “after they threatened to shell a civilian building in Gaza, we fired a barrage of missiles at Tel Aviv”.

The brief statement came minutes after the al-Qassam Brigades shelled Tel Aviv with dozens of missiles, killing one settler and wounding others.

The al-Qassam Brigades and other Palestinian resistance factions continue to respond to the continuing Israeli aggression for the sixth day in a row, which has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 139 Palestinian citizens, including 39 children and 22 women, in addition to at least 1,000 injuries.
