The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, have on Tuesday evening announced that it had targeted six Israeli military air bases, in response to the raids on the Gaza Strip.
The group said its missiles had struck the bases of Hatzor, Hatzerim, Nevatim, Tel Nof, Palmachim and Ramon.
The brigades added that the targeting of these air bases was “in response to barbaric Zionist raids in the southern Gaza Strip”.
At dawn on Wednesday, Palestinian factions fired a barrage of missiles towards several Israeli towns. Earlier Tuesday, the Al-Qassam Brigades said it had bombed the logistics base of Mischmar ha-Negev, located in the northern tip of the Negev desert.
The military escalation between Hamas and the occupation continues for the ninth day in a row, leaving heavy material and human losses, amid stalled international efforts to reach a solution
