At least 15 Al-Qaeda members were killed and 30 others wounded on Tuesday, in an ambush set by the Yemeni army and Popular Committees in the west of Ma’rib city.
This was reported by Yemen Press Agency, based on local sources .
The sources explained that the Al-Qaeda operatives were exposed to artillery shelling by Yemeni forces while they were establishing new military outpost in west of Ma’rib.
According to the sources, Yemeni forces stationed at Al-Mashjah mountain bombed the site with artillery shells, just two days after the camp was established as a new defensive line for Ma’rib city, killing 15 people and wounding 30 other members of the terrorist organisation.
