The Palestinian resistance has on Friday shot down an Israeli drone over the Gaza Strip.
According to a source in the resistance, a quadcopter was shot down after the resistance fighters fired at it. The drone penetrated the skies of northern Gaza and flew at low level.
Palestinian media reported that Israeli drones infiltrated the airspace of the Gaza on Thursday evening.
The drones, operated electronically from a distance, were used by the Israeli army to carry out intelligence operations such as monitoring the leaders, members and whereabouts of the resistance.
