Nearly 300 Palestinians wounded in Zionist crackdowns in West Bank

The Palestinian Red Crescent society reported that 293 Palestinians were injured on Friday during clashes with Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank.

“Two hundred and ninety-three Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers in the Beta and Beit Dajan areas near Nablus in the West Bank ,” the Palestinian Red Crescent said in a statement.

Sixteen people were shot with live bullets, while 20 were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, it added.

These injuries were recorded during the forcible dispersal of the Jerusalem Marathon and another anti-settlement events south of Nablus, east of Qalqilya and west of Ramallah.

According to Al-Amal Health Services, its crews dealt with 40 injuries, ranging from rubber bullets to suffocation and assault with sticks and batons, sustained during the Israeli forces’ incursion into the Batan al-Hawa neighborhood of Slawan and the targeting of citizens’ homes.
