Saudi leadership reportedly forbids further prisoner exchange deals with Yemen

The head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, Abdul Qadir Al-Mortadha, revealed the existence of Saudi dictates to its militants in Yemen, ordering them to stop all prisoner exchange deals.

Al-Mortadha said on Sunday that “New Saudi directives to mercenaries [order] to stop all deals agreed locally.”

He affirmed that the Saudi directives have led to the suspension of 7 prisoner exchange deals on several fronts, totaling 400 prisoners from both sides.
