Large protests hit Saudi-occupied city of Mukalla

Clashes broke out between security forces and angry protesters in Mukalla, capital of the occupied Hadhramaut province in southeastern Yemen.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on local sources.
Protesters blocked major roads in Mukalla with stones and burning tires in protest against ongoing power outages.

Security and military forces intervened to disperse the protesters, shooting and injuring some of them.

Local sources said that protesters broke into the Mukalla radio headquarters and set it on fire.

Protests against the complete failure of Saudi-led occupation forces to organise society have steadily increased in the occupied areas for the past years.
