Top member in the the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, met on Monday with the representative of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas in Yemen, Moaz Abu Shamala.
In the meeting, al-Houthi affirmed the Yemeni people’s interaction to support the Palestinian cause, in response to the call of the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi.
He touched on the interest of the President of Yemen Mahdi al-Mashat in making the Palestinian cause the central issue of the nation.
Al-Houthi expressed the Yemeni people’s pride in the struggle of the Palestinian people and its view of the Palestinian factions in a single perspective.
He told the representative of Hamas to convey his greetings to the head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Dr. Ismail Haniyeh.
Meanwhile, the Hamas representative conveyed the Hamas leadership’s greetings to the Yemeni leadership, represented by Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
Abu Shamala said he appreciated the initiatives launched by the Leader of the Yemeni Revolution and the interaction of the Yemeni people in support of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause.
“We feel brotherhood and comfort in Yemen, and this indicates the Yemeni people’s love for Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” the Hamas representative said.
Abu Shamala pointed out that all indicators confirm the correctness of the resistance as the true way to liberate Palestine.
At the end of the meeting, Abu Shamala presented the shield of Hamas to the Supreme Political Council member, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, in appreciation of his role in supporting the Palestinian cause.
