Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, Member of the Supreme Political Council (SPC), the highest ruling authority in Sana’a, has announced that Yemen is willing to release southern separatist leaders that have been captured in battle.
Al-Houthi said that the Sana’a government would be ready to release two southern separatist leaders, named al-Subaihi and Mansour Hadi, in return for pressure exerted by the Islah party on Saudi Arabia to release imprisoned leaders of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.

Al-Houthi added: “If they had shed the blood that they have shed in the service of the UAE and Saudi occupation of Yemen for the sake of Palestine instead, Palestine would already have been liberated.”
