Yemeni Armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’i has confirmed that “what is being promoted by the media of the aggression regarding the removal of a network of mines in Bab al-Mandab and the islands of Hanish and Zuqar, is nothing but false fabrications.”
In a statement received by Saba News Agency, Sare’e explained that the aim of the aggression is to mislead the international public opinion, and make them think that the Yemeni army and the Popular Committees pose a threat to maritime navigation rather than the invaders.

He stressed that such fabrications and plays “have been exposed and do not deceive anyone.”
