One citizen was killed and another wounded on Monday, during armed confrontations between the Saudi-led coalition factions in Lahj province, southern Yemen.
Local sources reported that violent clashes took place between the forces of the so-called Security Belt, which is funded by the UAE, and the forces of the so-called Southern Resistance in Al-Musaimir district, which resulted in the death of a citizen and the injury of another.
The sources pointed out that the cause of the clashes came after leaders of the so-called Southern Resistance demanded the appointment of a new security director, adding that the tense situation in the area is still existing until the moment.
