Foreign Minister of Yemen: Pressure on Saudi-led aggression countries needed to end war

Yemeni Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah has stressed on Sunday the need to pressure the countries of US-Saudi aggression to force them to respect international humanitarian law and human rights, and to end the aggression and siege on Yemen.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs met with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer, where the meeting touched on joint activities between Yemen and the International Committee of the Red Cross, especially regarding the Committee’s activity in the future.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Yemen’s readiness to provide the necessary facilities for the work of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission and its workers.

The President of the International Committee of the Red Cross reviewed the activities of the Committee in Yemen, stressing the keenness of the ICRC delegation to provide all possible aspects of support to the Yemeni people, in order to alleviate their humanitarian suffering.
