The army and the Popular Committees of Yemen have on Wednesday carried out two military operations in Bayda province, during which they managed to restore a number of military sites to Yemeni control, killing and wounding dozens of takfiri forces.
A military source confirmed that the army and the Popular Committees, in cooperation with local tribesmen, carried out two military operations in Al-Zahir and Al-Sawma’ah districts, which ended with the restoration of a number of military sites and the killing and wounding of more than 80 mercenaries, including several leaders of Al-Qaeda.
The source added that the army and the Popular Committees are in high readiness to thwart all the plans of the enemies.
The source called on the people of the province to “mobilise the general public to complete the purification of Bayda province from the takfiri elements that move according to American instructions and directives.”
