he Saudi-led coalition has on Saturday said that the Jizan region on the border with Yemen has been struck by aerial attacks.
A coalition spokesman said in a statement circulated by Saudi media that the latest attack was carried out with two ballistic missiles, noting that the southern regions had been attacked in the last few hours by about three drone airstrikes.
The Yemeni army from its side has not yet officially commented on the latest attack, suggesting that the operation may be continuing as the army forces have recently adopted large-scale operations as part of a new deterrence strategy.
The aerial attack coincides with military developments inside Yemen and on the Saudi border, which have escalated over the past few hours, specifically in Ma’rib and Najran.
