An improvised explosive device (IED) on Tuesday exploded in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden. This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on local sources.
According to the sources, the explosive device exploded and targeted a military vehicle belonging to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias as it was passing in Khur Maksar district.
The explosion left several soldiers wounded, in addition to damages to the car, one of the source said.
Aden and other southern provinces have been witnessing assassinations and security disorder since the United Arab Emirates occupation forces took control over the city.
