Saudi media admitted on Monday the Saudi-led coalition forces’ defeat of the battle in Ma’rib province at the hands of the Yemeni army forces and the Popular Committees on the fronts north, west and south of Ma’rib city.
Al Arabiya TV, which is funded by Saudi Arabia, quoted a military official in the coalition forces as saying: “The reason for the retreat of the coalition forces on the Ma’rib fronts is due to partisan quarrels and the calculations of some political parties that work for their personal interest and not for the sake of the legitimate government.”
The official explained that some of military leaders think only of their interests and reject the orders of the Saudi-led Hadi puppet government, which Saudi Arabia refers to as “the legitimate government”, and the high command of the invading coalition.
