Tensions have been high on the border between Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories, as Zionist forces shelled Lebanese areas three times on Wednesday, Al-Manar news Agency reported.
According to al-Manar, six 155 mm projectiles were fired by the Israeli occupation military, landing in an open area in Al-Khiam valley.
Later on Wednesday, Israeli artillery shelled areas to the north of Naqoura border town and woodlands to the south of Rachaya Al-Fakhar in Al-Arqoub.
The report added that the outskirts of Al-Hibbariya and Kfarshouba were also targeted by Israeli heavy artillery.
Earlier, Israeli media claimed that three rockets were fired from Lebanon and landed in Kiryat Shmona and two other settlements on the border with Lebanon.
Israeli media said that the head of the Upper Galilee Regional Council ordered Israeli settlers to stay in safe places, noting that shelters were opened for settlers in Kiryat Shmona, although these shelter orders were later rescinded.
