The Israeli occupation has sent navy vessels to the Red Sea, following the attack on the Mercer Street oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman on July 30.
An Israeli submarine, accompanied by two warships are currently headed for the Red Sea, Nour News Agency reported, quoted an Iranian official as saying.
The official pointed out that the Israeli military move “aims to create a tense atmosphere after the ship accident in the Gulf of Oman.”
However, the official said that the move “shows that the new Tel Aviv government had failed to reach a consensus against Iran.”
British special forces have furthermore illegally arrived in the eastern Yemeni province of Mahrah, reportedly in order to track down the people who launched the drone plane that targeted the Israeli ship and killed two of its crew.
