The deputy head of the National Delegation considered that the new UN envoy for Yemen will not change the scene and does not have any new agenda, stressing that the United Nations is bound by Washington’s agenda.
“The new UN envoy is like those who preceded him among the UN staff. He will not change anything in the scene,” Jalal Al-Rowaishan said in a statement to Almasirah on Tuesday.
Al-Rowaishan pointed out that the United Nations and its staff are subject to Security Council resolutions, which are subject to the decisions of the permanent members and take into account their interests with the American sponsor.
He stressed that the National Delegation is not counting on the new UN envoy, given that he does not have any new agenda.
