Member of the Yemeni national diplomatic delegation, Abdul-Malik al-Ajri, called for open direct negotiations with the people and sheikhs of Ma’rib province.
Al-Ajri said on Twitter that this move comes after the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi puppet government rejected the peace initiative presented by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, to bring peace to the province.
He indicated that the rejection of the initiative by Islah Party forces is done because they want to preserve Ma’rib as a special resource for financing the party and enriching its leaders.
The Yemeni diplomatic outreach now goes directly to the people and tribes of Ma’rib, asking them to negotiate with the National Salvation Government, regardless of the dictates of Riyadh and the exiled Hadi administration
