Commanding officer of Saudi-led troops in Ma’rib reported dead of injuries

The commanding officer of military operations of the Saudi-led coalition forces in Ma’rib city, Major General Nasser al-Thibani, has died on Wednesday of wounds he sustained in an attack that targeted Sahn Al-Jin camp three days ago, informed sources reported.

The sources confirmed that al-Thibani’s body was taken to the mortuary of the General Hospital in the city of Ma’rib.

On June 17, 2020, al-Thibani was appointed as head of the War Operations Authority of the coalition forces in Yemen.
