Saudi media has revealed on Sunday that all oil production and export activity in the Ras Tanura area has been ceased, following a wide-scale attack by Yemeni drones and missiles.

The online newspaper “The Saudi Reality” said that the fire in the fourth production area in Ras Tanura and the sixth distribution line in the same area has halted all production and distribution since the early morning hours of Sunday.

The newspaper confirmed that the production and distribution activities have been postponed until further notice, due to large damage to the fourth production line and the sixth distribution pipeline.

In a military statement this morning, the official spokesman for the Yemeni army forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, announced that the Yemeni Missile Forces and the Air Force carried out a joint operation called Seventh Balance of Deterrence.

According to Brigadier General Sare’e, eight Samad-3 drones and a Zulfiqar ballistic missile targeted a number of sensitive Saudi sites in the east and south of the Kingdom, including the Aramco Company in Ras Al-Tanura in Dammam.

He added that Aramco’s facilities in the areas of Jeddah, Jizan and Najran were also bombed with five Badr ballistic missiles and two Sammad-3 drones.

This marks the seventh such large-scale aerial retaliation operation by the Yemeni Armed Forces since the start of the Balance of Deterrence operations in 2019. The reliatory airstrikes are carried out with high precision, and target military and key economical targets deep inside Saudi Arabia.
