Six Palestinians escape from Zionist high-security prison

Six Palestinian prisoners have managed to escape from escaped from Gilboa Prison in the north of the Zionist entity overnight, media sources reported early on Monday.

According to Israel’s Channel 13, the Palestinian prisoners managed escape from prison through a tunnel they dug in utmost secrecy.

According to Zionist media, extensive searches involving helicopters and drones are taking place trying to reach the prisoners who managed to escape.

Large numbers of Israeli forces are on alert and searching for prisoners who have escaped from prison, the channel added.

According to the media, five of the prisoners were members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, while the sixth was a member of Fatah.

In a photo published by the Israeli Prison Service administration, the prisoners include Palestinians who previously carried out attacks against Israeli occupation forces. Amongst them is Zakaria Zubeidi, a former leader in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, the armed wing of Fatah.

A reporter for Channel 20 confirmed that there is a suspicion that the escaped prisoners managed to reach the Palestinian city of Jenin.
