Saudi Aramco oil company remains closed for business in eastern Saudi Arabia following highly successful Yemeni attack

Saudi petroleum company Aramco is still in a state of shutdown in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, as a consequence of the latest missile and drone operation last Sunday, Reuters news agency reported on Tuesday.

The agency added that Saudi Aramco closed its facilities in Dhahran and Ras Tanura, which include large-scale oil infrastructure.

On Sunday, the Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, announced the targeting of Aramco facilities in Ras al-Tanura in Dammam region, eastern Saudi Arabia, with eight Samad-3 drones and a Zulfiqar ballistic missile, within the operation called the Seventh Balance of Deterrence.

Aramco facilities in the regions of Jeddah, Jizan and Najran were also targeted with five Badr ballistic missiles and two Samad-3 drones.
