The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees on Saturday managed to foil an infiltration attempt carried out by Saudi-led coalition’s mercenaries towards army’s locations in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, a military official said.
According to the official, the mercenaries tried to advance near the 50th Street, in clear violation of the Swedish agreement, but were foiled by the army forces.
On Friday, The Saudi-led coalition forces committed 420 violations of the Sweden ceasefire agreement in the province, the operations room to monitor the violations said.
Among the violations were the creation of new combat fortifications in Al-Jah and Al-Jabaliya areas, two raids by spy planes on Al-Jah, and 29 flights of spy aircraft in the airspace of Kilo 16, Hays, Al-Durayhimi, Al-Jah, Al-Jabaliya, and Al-Tuhita areas, according to the operations room.
The violations also included firing 617 artillery shells in 66 violations, and 317 violations with various machine-gun bullets.
