Saudi Arabia admitted on Wednesday that an attack with an explosive drone targeted Abha International Airport, in the southwest of the Kingdom.
The al-Ekhbariya television channel quoted the Saudi-led coalition as saying: “A drone was intercepted and destroyed while it was targeting Abha Airport.”
The coalition continued: “We are dealing with sources of threats firmly, in order to protect civilians and civilian objects.”
No party has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
