The United States has on Wednesday evacuated its troops from the southern Yemeni city of Aden.
This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on maritime sources at Aden Airport.
This comes at a time when protests have continued amid fears of a total collapse of government authority.
A US plane arrived late Tuesday evening along with a team of US experts from Spear Operations Group, a private mercenary company that the United States is using to track down what it describes as “terrorists” in southern Yemen, according to maritime sources at Aden airport.
The evacuation followed warnings issued by the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi asking the US government to take care of its collaborators and troops in Aden in case of a possible collapse of the security situation in the city.
Aden is under the control of pro-UAE mercenary factions, and is experiencing chaos and violence due to unrest and complete incapability of the mercenary authorities to rule.
