The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees on Saturday managed to foil an infiltration attempt carried out by Saudi-led coalition’s mercenaries towards army’s locations in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, a military official said.
According to the official, the mercenaries tried to advance towards several areas in the eastern parts of Hays district but were foiled by the army forces.
On Friday, The Saudi-led coalition forces committed 272 violations of the UN-mediated Sweden Agreement about Hodeidah ceasefire, the operations room to monitor the violations reported.
Among the violations were the launching 11 raids by spy planes on Al-Jabaliya and al-Jah areas, and 21 flights of spy aircraft over the airspace of Al-Jah, 50th street, Al-Faza, Hays, Al-Durayhimi, and Al-Jabaliya areas, according to the operations room.
The violations also included firing 125 artillery shells in 12 violations, and 228 violations with various machine-gun bullets.
