The Yemeni army has managed to liberate several strategic areas in Shabwah province, southern Yemen, according to sources on Tuesday.
The sources affirmed the army took control over the districts of Bayhan, Ain and Usaylan.
In the same context, journalist Salah bin Laghbar said on Twitter that “the army forces have taken complete control over these districts,” overlooking the districts of Harib and Ataq.
Activists posted a video showing the moment the army and Popular Committees entered Bayhan district in Shabwah, amid a large and enthusiastic popular reception by the people of the district.
