Large numbers of al-Qaeda members wearing Afghan uniforms have been stationed in camps of a militia loyal to the Emirati occupation forces in the Yemeni coastal city of Mocha, local sources said on Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses stated that al-Qaeda militants were seen a few days ago in several markets in the city of Mocha.
Local residents have begun to leave the city of Mocha in response, heading towards areas in the neighbouring provinces of Taiz and Hodeidah, eyewitnesses confirmed.
So far, it is not clear why the al-Qaeda forces have been stationed in Mocha city.
