Yemen’s Ambassador to Syria, Abdullah Sabri, has on Wednesday received Mahmoud al-Mousawi, an official at the Iraqi Al-Nahba movement.

Al-Mousawi, in his name and on behalf of the movement’s leader, Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi, offered congratulations to the Yemeni people and the political and revolutionary leadership on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution.

He expressed “the solidarity of the Iraqi people with the Yemeni people in the face of the Saudi aggression and the unjust siege.”

At the meeting, Ambassador Sabri stressed the importance of coordination between the various forces of the Axis of Resistance in confronting the Zionist-American attacks.

The Syrian Arab Republic officially recognises the National Salvation Government as the legitimate government of Yemen, and maintains direct diplomatic relations with Sana’a.
