Hezbollah has condemned the conference that was held in the Iraqi city of Erbil which called for the normalisation of ties with the Zionist entity of “Israel”.
Hezbollah stated that it considers the conference “a failed attempt to promote a culture of dialogue with the enemy, that was buried.”
In a statement, Hezbollah praised the official, political, popular, and religious authorities and movements in Iraq and beyond that strongly rejected all kinds of normalisation with the enemy, and hailed the Iraqi judiciary for legally prosecuting those collaborating with Zionism in the conference.
“This rejection reflects a special kind of awareness among the Iraqi people andnits political components, and shows national immunity against the scheme of normalisation,” the statement read.
Hezbollah highly appreciated the steadfastness and the strong stance of the Iraqi people in supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause.
